Annoying brat, meddling in people's lives.
People being outraged over them being a couple just because of their differing personalities sounds like an over exaggeration nowadays. Their relationship would probably be mocked by a few, maybe even disapproved by a few, but I wouldn't expect much more than that. And you probably wouldn't want to associate yourself with those who would seriously mock or disapprove such a relationship in the first place.
