Okay I was not expecting the plot twist of Capt. Sarel not ordering them to do the kidnapping and those idiots did it themselves.

not gonna lie, I'm kinda disappointed that everything turned out be yet another misunderstanding of sorts. I know this is mostly a fluffy feel good manga, but man author-san if you build up such a story arc for so long and it just evaporates, it just feels bad.

I think the slow updates don't help matters, it feels so (or even more) stretched out as a result. Not blaming anyone though.

I mean, with the way they went about it so surreptitiously...i kinda smelled this twist coming.

Hell, with the way the Sarel arrived and how he was talking to them, they actually threw me off a bit and made me think he actually was the mastermind. But the instant they revealed the wind spirit actually wasn't acting in concert with the black-clothed people it was giving away the fact the were most likely working independently, and not under some big master plan, the stinky smell of someone acting out a half-thought plan smacked me in the face.

Aw maaaaaan. You would not believe the amount of tech BS I've been through lately. Lost some progress due to some extremely stupid design decisions in Windows 11 and how it handled running my convenience scripts. I knew Windows 11 was bad, but I wasn't ready for it to be THIS bad. I've also had to deal with 5 different system issues across 3 different OSes. I was really hoping this PC build would go just as smoothly as my last one... All that on top of the moving and other things took up a lot of time, but I'm going to buckle down and get some more chapters out (hopefully) soon-ish.

Yeah. Work has left me with so much less time and energy than I thought it would, although not entirely in a bad way. While I can't go into specifics, there's a good... an okay... well... there's a chance some readers have used something I've worked on.

That's the really laughable part. That even if their plan went exactly as they envisioned, they don't even realize Mil would have just told her mom and her mom would have buried the capital in eternal ice.
