Such a nice little manga. A dragon fighting a human, classic.

@TTX - I was only referring to what would/could happen in this manga, I am not referring to real life. I am not Japanese so I wouldn't know. Male MC's family has accepted her and their children, it's pretty much set in stone unless male MC suddenly starts hating Aoi, I doubt he'll leave her for another girl. The evidence is that even to the woman closest to him (childhood friend), he harbours no feelings of affection, thus Aoi is winning by default. Again, I am only saying what could happen in this manga with the way the characters are set up.

Both girls are not necessarily the worst, but bad enough.
- The childhood friend waited years (big chunks of their lifetimes) until he was in another "relationship". It doesn't really matter what kind of relationship it is. Too bad for her.
- And the dragon mama simply swooned over him until she laid fertilizable eggs. (I don't know how much "being in love with" is needed for that, but this and the fact that she liked him from afar have the potential to be kinda creepy.) Even though this situation isn't her fault, she still does not recognize the fact, that they do not have had a romantic relationship. Not even sex. (Maybe sex is a alien concept for her, as her species does not need it to procreate) And the reason for her to not to is simple. She does not want to recognize it. She wants this relationship to happen. But they are strangers, that befriended each other and now he helps her to raise their children. And he can do so without marrying her.
So in truth, MC has all the freedoms of the world to choose his girlfriend. Both girls may be heartbroken as much as they want, but he simple can choose one of them or even none.

This was a sudden development, never expected it. It feels like a sudden jump near the ending with both confesses their feeling.
It's a nice move if only if this was a one sided win for dragon girl. But it put the new character "childhood friend" to a bad side for readers(in the context of appearing suddenly and confessing).

By hentai logic now they will fuck mc to see who is more compatible and in the end mc will not be able to choose one of them so he will get both of them
