There was this large content spike over on Tiktok with Kitanai, which most likely caused a lot of people to discover it.

Please any fans of toxic Yuri give this a shot, just get through the first few pages it gets so much better.
This might be one of the most visceral and moving stories I've ever read.
I've never seen two characters more destined for each other and horrible for each other at the same time.
It creates just a powerful experience that will leave you awe struck and reeling trying to comprehend the messaging about the lust and it's transcendence into something beyond the physical world.
Please if you can stomach it give it a shot 🙏

There's a oneshot which has a section written from the pov of a background character that shows that their deaths made it to the news. So Ai's mother probably knows.
