The trope of extremely younger-looking moms is kinda played out to death at the point but I guess the contrast makes things funny.

Gotta say, this panel really worried me. Yuki's right forehead looks like it's bleeding, but not in following panels. I really do hope it's not a flashback image to Yuki having been abused in the past that Mai was remembering.

As far as mom being a legal loli, Tae's not far off from being one herself. The silly, kind of childish, prints she wears regularly makes her look younger, too.
