Whoah! slow down there, it's not free, there's a small box there you put you money in, you see it with a small lock. It's just the farmer busy doing farm work so no time to attend the store. So honour system/self check out station. We also have a few of those in Canada but in more remote region and rare around cities.

We have them here in Norway as well, but I don't think many of them have money boxes anymore, even in those places it's electronic payment now (via smartphone). Like most others I don't carry cash around anymore, the last time I had must be quite a few years ago.
