And Kiyo cannot stay at Kyoto forever, she got to find her own future. Sumire has to work as a geiko in the future and leaves the manor too. Did you forget that geisha is a profession that mainly entertain men? She needs to take male clients who will support her financially or else she can't survive there. Remember how many men her geiko sister got in chapter 42?
