Remember how everything in the academy is essentially livestreamed to the rich and powerful? MC pissed off a lot of people before the story started, and they're the ones pressuring the administrators to antagonize MC. However a bunch of the viewers know he's an upcoming star and are using their influence to keep them somewhat inline.
What could have possibly done tho? Being defiant towards nobility?

I was expecting the twist but I wasn’t expecting the plan to be “shanked in the guts and twist the knife” kinda twisted…and that quickly too.

That doesn't really fit to how the manga started very well. Everyone seemed to love the MC before his stats and unfamiliar skill were shown, but when they saw all of his stats were absolute trash that couldn't grow except one exceptional stat while not knowing what his skill could do they decided he was trash and put him in the loser class. Then the principal and his lackey just seemed to hate the loser class in general and didn't want it to be better than the normal class at any cost. It also seems that it is common in this world to judge people on their stats.

I figured the sponsors could watch everything since they noticed the mushrooms, so I have been wondering how the school hasn't gotten in trouble yet for not handing out the prizes for fulfilling the conditions the sponsors or the school put.

I basically have to turn off my not-so-useful brain everytime i read this manga but i'll keep reading it anyway~
I find it hilarious, especially how the principal(?) and headmaster(?) seems to have, let's just call it "extremely bad luck" when it comes to thinking

the smart thing to do is give mc's ticket some value so he can use it so people can order him around

Im gonna be honest, I genuinly do not understand how these "slave tickets" work.

On that note, what with the current obsession with many manga writers to try and shoehorn slavery into their setting? Is it their poorly disguised fetish or something???

People literally beg MC for food in last Ch. All it take for MC is doing his own thing and other students will starve enough to give tickets to MC.
Fr, absolutely 0 survival instincts on the part of these idiots.

This story is exhausting. Sure, at the beginning people could assume the MC would be useless, but he's disproven that time after time. How can people continue to assert this guy is trash? "Don't believe your lying eyes," I guess.

Well that blew up in their faces spectacularly, as expected.

I'm really starting to wonder about how this... school? Academy? Summer camp? Whatever this is prepares anyone for adulthood. The only two adults in this story are slack jawed clowns that couldn't run a bath, let alone a school, and we know next to nothing about the world outside this place. There's virtually no story to be found here, just a couple of barely functional bullies that keep shooting themselves in the foot over and over. This author sucks at world building.
Not entirely true. While their screen time is limited, there was a couple of other adult instructors around for like two chapters then disappeared again. But other then that small correction you hit the nail on the head and drove it thrue the plank.

the Slavery ticket system is the dumbest system ever.

1. it can seemly be used by teachers too? strike one.

2. who keeps an eye on the orders that gets issused? strike 2.

3. everyone turns into a slave if they got low value? strike 3. (someone mentioned a noble would be darn angry if they found out their kid was a slave. )

if they wanted a system.... why not use a trading system. more useful and fewer risks.

I wish there's someone more villainous person to appear. jfc, their school life have always been broadcasted since chapter one and no one has ever attempted to usurp that skill.

nobles from other manga, kill kill kill, nobles here, inconvenience him.

Good news, the name of these "slave tickets" is extremely misleading.
There is no mechanism to enforce obedience, just a mild incentive for it.
Basically, it's simply an IOU, and if you don't obey orders, your ticket value goes down so you can buy less the next time you use them. But it also means humiliating or dangerous orders are not enforceable.

(edit: also, there is a simple exploit. Just stock a ton of goods or get several services done for you, spend all your tickets... then decline all orders. First, you get the full value of your tickets when spending them; next their value plummets so the score of your creditors goes down too.)

That's all for the good news, because everything else is extremely stupid.
In particular, giving the MC a value of 0 means that he can't "buy" anything (which would increase the score of another class) and he has already "sold" a lot of services to the two golden girls (which means of course he would earn a lot immediately).
Also, he's proved himself extremely skilled at... just about everything... so he has a lot of ways to earn more in the near future. (In particular for shelter and food, two of the most basic needs.)
Finally, he's demonstrably self-sufficient, so he wouldn't even need to buy anything anyway.

The teacher really called for this scheme to turn against himself. At this stage, he's irredeemable.
He'll probably look for some random excuse not to grant the prizes... once again... but everything is public and precisely quantified, so whatever he pulls off will most definitely look like a pitiful excuse.

You don't have to turn it off, because sometimes it fun to figure out how the bad thing would backfire before it happen.

Yeah, the whole Slavery term is used explicitly just to get the horny boys/audience to think they can do naughty things. Like ecchi hand holding. The coupons have no intrinsic value other than what the owners decides to give them. That and the principal and vice-principal are attempting to use them as Company Scrip. With all that that entails. Bribe whomever they want with products and get them to do whatever schemes they want.

Except that that Exploit involves destroying the trust that you've built up with other classes, and in the eyes of the audience/Future Employers. The conceit of this Pioneering School, is that you can show your future value to sponsors who may hire you in the future to possibly prospect, found new towns, administer current towns, etc. If you're too sneaky and conniving, you lose value in the eyes of those who want more honest employees. The other side of that coin, is you may attract an employer that wants you to lie, cheat, and steal. But that's the "evil" side, and this manga so far doesn't really give that side a break on the morality of this world.

Especially since this is a comedy, the entire concept of these coupons they've introduced is just comically bad. They've literally just had a situation where the MC "rescued" a vast swath of the other students with food. All the MC would have to do, is be a mean bastard and charge them all for food.

So to summarize:
1. Give out slave tickets
2. ?
3. Profit
Step1: give out slave tickets with specific point value. With mc's friends tickets worth the win
Step2: device plan to get tickets of mc's close friends only for plan to backfire
Step3: profit...... but negatively lol

True enough, except when you can monopolize a resource. In which case, who cares about trust?
The food issue just before the ticket scene is a good example. Few people trust the MC, but they still lined up to his door to get permission to get food.

This reflects in real-life too. Big corporations that monopolize a resource will prioritize short-term profit over long-term trust.
