Do we really need this many pages for the thing where they establish his power to the student body when it is so uninspired :wowee: u could handwave it and say that ppl saw him beating the captain and that'd be better than wasting drawings on this
The point is more about discrimination though. Using a common trope to let us know that severely classist nobles still exist in this world. Next we'll learn whether their kids are redeemable. Though youre right that this is rather boring world building.

Not to talk too much on the tropes of the chapter but it always bugged me when they say "oh the exam was on the same level as elementary school in my old world" How is that possible? Why are the subjects the same? The only one that I think could have significant overlap is math and even that's not guaranteed.

ugh school arc... hope they don't waste the series there.
I know the Japanese have a thing with schools and experiencing that long-lost spring of youth again, but at this point we’re prolly expecting mc to be in the school for several volumes…last time i read a manga where the mc actually graduated and continued with his life, it’s Hachinan-tte and Isekai Tensei Soudouki (Multi-Mind Mayhem)(would be great if someone can pick Multi-Mind Mayhem; UTOON hasn’t uploaded a new ch in 6mo so i assume it’s dropped).

It’s always the manga stopping during school, just after graduation, or the manga starting after graduation…

Elementary school subjects through the Ages: Reading, writing, basic arythmatic, basic history, basic geography, basic "Science" ( may be magic in a magical society ), basic PE ( martial arts in "medieval" settings).
Talented kids would have started on basic math, and from there basic physics/chemistry ( mid-tier magic/alchemy), and possibly basic combat training.

The kids here are entering first year highschool, so the subjects on any entrance exam would be more or less the same as elementary education through the ages here, even if in these settings it's more based on tutors/homeschooling than formal elementaries.

So an Isekai remembering his past life would notice the similarities. Because the similarities are more or less inevitable given what elementary education is for...
And the entrance exam is there to test what's stuck in the kids' noggin..
