Dunno what to miss here
From the last chapter:
- MC said that marquis's son doesn't have looks.
- He remembered and come to "let here apologize" (for calling him ugly)
- MC sends him to hell (but really politely)
- He attacks
- Nathaniel stops him
- MC asks if Nath is going to the dinner. Obviously, she hopes that he's not because well he's THE END and can kill everybody just in instant. Also, he's someone she can't introduce and he's unidentifiable. But now he's interested in events here.
- Marquis's son remembers that he's here for engagement and "gives her another chance" again.
- MC isn't thrilled. She states that it's not him who should give chances.
- Marquis's son reminds her that she insulted him by "calling him ugly."
- She answers that she was honest for a change (like I DO MEAN YOU'R UGLY).
- Nath laughs.
- Marquis's son is insulted and dashes to them. He pushes MC, and Nath is angry.
- Nath strikes the marquis's son with the bouquet again and states that MC standards are high (e.g." you are really too ugly").
- Marquis's son is infuriated and throws a glove. Duel!
- Nath throws a glove too. He accepted the duel. MC is shocked.
- In the next scene, MC explains that Gladi is stupid but still strong.
- Nath isn't impressed.
- MC wonders if Gladi was knighted for skill.
- Nath reminds her of knights' pledges. We don't know what they actually are, but it somehow answers her questions. MC is amused and Nath is amused that she's noble enough to enjoy conversation even now.
- MC is worried for him (I didn't understand the "voice" thing, but it's kinda understandable from context).
- Nath shows her spooky magic.
- MC asks herself why she was even worried.
- She still worries that his magic is gonna be blocked with antimagic gems.
- It's not, cus he's not a mage.
I mean I see some strange words and some nonsense, that may be confusing (maybe it's less important for non-native? my English is broken anyway), but still, it's a pretty clear narration. MC got the scary old winter thing that's totally unpredictable and can cover the whole land with winter. The thing kinda plays as human noble, protects her from aggressive courtship, and accepts a duel. We don't know what the THING is (aside he's male and hot and snowy), but we'll know later. There are some hints that he's old frenemy for imperial family.
