Like always Literal_Genie you guys are doing god's work, this amazing series sure deserves the dedication you are putting on it. And going by what you and many others say this series seems to be a hell to translate and adapt because of the complexity of the story and the language it originally was written.
@alacaelum Seriously, thanks for reading! And thank god that there are translators like /u/GiggleMaster that want to work on this.
As for your comment about the language, it's definitely a bit hellish to translate. For exposition dumps like these, I've heard even from natives that it's a bit hard to follow. My Korean is far from adequate, so take this with a grain of salt, but I believe the biggest issue is that the author is intentionally vague / fragmented in a lot of the dialogue. And to make matters worse, the author can also pack a lot of details into small bubbles, forcing us translators to pick and choose which details to keep (hence why you'll often see bubbles with little to no margins).
Admittedly, for this chapter in particular though, I may have bullshitted the proofread. That is, I kept most of the vagueness + literal meaning, especially for the bubbles that we ourselves weren't too sure on.
@rennov Sorry about that. Like I mentioned above, I wasn't following some of the dialogue myself so I kept the literal translation. I also could've cleaned up the english a bit more, but it was a rush job.
Hopefully this summary of the main points helps:
Scene 1 - Luna Project Ship:[ul][li]The Union's prototype ship appears equipped with Great War Tech[/li][ul][li]Tech was developed (actually restored) by the PPP.[/li][li]The Delta Logic radar is capable of detecting even the hidden Observers' ship.[/li][/ul][li]The Observer group now recognizes the PPP's tech as threat.[/li][ul][li]One of the Observers is a 100-year-old super-baddy that's fought the (crumbling) Human Alliance.[/li][/ul][/ul]
Scene 2 - The Observers, Dan (the man) and Duran (the woman):[ul] The biggest thing is that Duran claims Anne will become healthy. The rest of the dialogue is essentially a recap of the last fight. [/ul]
Scene 3 - Leah Zail (the chick on the current cover art) and the Cold Heroes:[ul] The cold heroes, likely under the orders of Dry, retrieve some sealed object that those two heroes sealed themselves*.[/ul]
* Just noticed that this was a mistranslation on my part. I phrased it as if Leah sealed the object, but it was actually the heroes.
