Sometimes, it'd be stuffed in a half-pita like I usually see here in the States, but the wrap was clearly more common.
I really have no idea what constitutes authentic. Hong Kong had all sorts of genuine Turkish and Pakistani places that had very different dishes called the same thing from one restaurant to another. No idea if it was just regional differences or recipe tweaks to make the dishes more appealing to locals.
