Maybe it's because she actually had her eyes open a whole lot this chapter, but I don't recall her ever having odd eyes before. I probably just missed it. Or forgot.
Lucoa very rarely open her eyes and even rarer (never?) to open it in her dragon form. I wonder if she does it it'll open a power unimaginable by either faction.
