Reiji projecting his trauma onto Rin and making her feel like he NEEDS her to survive is really sad and tragic. Reiji's unhealthy obsession with Aki are really causing some problems for Rin.

Im of the belief that kids shouldn't feel like their parents/guardians are depending on them, especially at such a young age. That's too much pressure on the child I think.

Fuck Reiji. I get he has some trauma to work through but dumping that on a child is wrong. This feels like unintentional love bombing and grooming mixed together. Rin feels obligated to return the favor when it is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to take care of the child. I feel bad for Rin, tbh the best option would’ve been to expose Reiji in front of Rin’s father if this was reality. Even if Rin hates it, it can’t be worse than having a grown man prey on a child.
