The anime have a couple of original scenes that are good. For example, by the time Nonoka and Koshiro are already together, Nonoka's friends are planning on following her in secret after school because they suspect Nonoka is hiding the fact she has a boyfriend and they want to see who it is. At the last second one of the friends convinced the other no better not do it because she had a bad feeling about it. I always thought that scene was pretty cool.
It really added to the suspense/thrilling vibe of the story which was stronger in the anime.
