The manga seems to be about the 'getting there' and oh boy it's made so many people mad an I'm here for it.

I don't really like how dismissive he's being towards ayano's uncertainty for her future. she feels that without her status as an actor, her value as a person will diminish. her continuance of the profession only to satisfy her manager's work ethic and continue their quaint relationship will not sustain the pressure and emotional turmoil that comes with that lifestyle. very misguided emotions that could have been sorted out had either party be willing to cross the line of strict professionalism.
