Well, she's a very lonely girl with no father figure nor sibling and an absent mother, who's been exploited by entertainment industry since she's a kid and now when she's still 13 she found herself crushing on an equally problematic adult man with no one tells her what to do. All her life she's been acting and putting on a smile, to her, being pretty and happy isnt a normal humane behavior and condition, it's necessity for survival.

One of my highschool classmates married one of her highschool teachers a year or so after graduatin. I found out about this from mutual friends at an event where there were a lot of people from my highschool attending. To paraphrase her friend in response to my look of concern "Oh, don't worry it wasn't his [the teacher's] idea."

It was, and they didn't get married until after she graduated college (though she graduated early)

This is third hand and is probably corrupted by my shoddy memory.
but from what I understand, she didn't just show up to class and lock in; their families knew each other and they had met other times. I don't know exactly when she decided that Teacher's Wife was her life goal, but it might have predated being in his class.

The girl was also extremely smart and goal-motivated. She was top GPA and SAT/ACT scorer in our school. She was offered early graduation/college but turned it down, though she did night classes at one of major school's satellite campuses. So I am very certain she was waiting until everything was legal before moving in for the kill.

anyway, they didn't elope, her family was at least some level of onboard. So even if they didn't wait the mandatory cool down period, no one was going to complain. And from how it was recounted to me she basically wore him down.

When they started dating, he transferred districts in (again what was recounted to me by another source) what was mutually agreed decision; When they were married some of her friends were still students and attended the wedding so Admin didn't want the rumor mill to run.

He was also in his first year teaching when she was a sophmore, so the age gap when they married was 20 and 28/29.

Last time I talked to someone from highschool, it came up and they were apparently on kid #5.

The main take away was people are probably dying of cancer right now because instead of being a doctor she dual majored in music and early childhood education because her dream was to be a housewife/stay-at-home mom who taught piano on the side.
