I know this is a manga but is this normal in Japan? I can’t think of a single company that would last a week with a boss like that everyone would quit. Let alone staying a couple of months like the other this dumbass stayed a whole year. Bro there are other jobs

I will never understand how the japanese have so much commitment to their jobs even though they're being verbally and mentally abused on the daily

Rent cannot be that high

Yes, and in most other countries.

Probably not. I think they just look alike. This could be intentional on the author's part—maybe he deliberately made them similar—or it could be that he just tends to draw female characters in a similar style. Either way, Isshiki is definitely not Ayano’s father. He’s 27, and she’s 13, so there’s a 14-year gap between them.

Edit:

Yep, definitely not. Here’s something from Chapter 10:

Man, you can see how different she is between this page and this chapter… was she playing a role in this chapter ? Or did her job change her ? Emotional damage incoming :fml:

Actually, rent in Japan isn't that bad if you compare it with other developed countries. It comes off as affordable.... What's bad is what you earn.

Salaries in Japan are, on average absolute dogshit lmao, reason why so many IT workers leave it to go work in the USA where they can earn x2 / x 3 the amount they were making in Japan, just to mention one field.
Like, just look at this shit: https://doda.jp/guide/heikin/area/

These average are sad lol.

Asian companies have high productivity but low quality. So much slop comes out of Asia because the people never have time to rest and refresh it's pretty sad.

Funny, just last year, in video games for example:
The west: DA Veilguard, AC shadows, Skull n Bones,...
Asian: Metaphor, "ER", FFVII R, Stellar Blade, BMW,...

Before you bla bla bla, my point is "Try to avoid making a blanket statement if possible".

Japan is the most infamous for it. They coined the term black company. It's not just mean bosses either but a work culture where peers would consider you lazy for not doing overtime, or using vacation days. I hear it is a largely improved compared to watch it was though. Oddly though it always seems to be pointed at office work, you rarely see it in other fields.

Nahh I don’t think so, im pretty sure she would come back into future chapters since it was hinted that he broke up with his ex girlfriend because he was involved in a scandal with her and not some ntr bullshit.
I mean, isnt ntr scandalous enough? :haa:

Weaker flashback and I was expecting, although it's well built and all.
I'll wait and see what the scandal was. Hope MC-kun breaks the director nose at least.
