This chapter is one of the more straightforward yet going to be one of the more misunderstood messages in this manga. It's the ongoing message that all these students are going through.
In a single page, the mangaka concisely summarizes what this manga has been about (though the next page is a very important followup)
Because yeah. These kids have a range of experiences and situations and emotions they are in. Some are going to appear more trivial than others to us. Some of their responses are going to be unreasonable to us. But their emotions and reactions are very real to them (okay they're not real real, but you get my point) and should not be so easily dismissed. There are going to be people who would say that she's overreacting, but it is a very normal reaction to being put in a sexual situation you are not prepared for. The key difference is how much she feels is sexual vs how much the "majority" culture does. Which ties into the ethics lesson in the beginning of the chapter.
Actually speaking of, it is kind of nice that her friends still do genuinely care about her and love her for who she is, even if they do think she's being kind of dumb.

That girl's life is literally a roller coaster: she goes from very high to very low to very high again very quickly.
Hmm I had troubles connecting her situation with the ethics lesson, so I got stuck for a while. Thanks for the perspective!

A relationship has to be both an understanding and realistic.
It ain't like shoujo or any stories, it ain't glamerous like movies, it ain't dramatic like shows, it ain't all about sex like those sites might show. It's not like that ALL the time, because that's not life.
Sure, it's a bit of everything but most importantly, you want to BE with them because you like who they are first and firmost IMO.
Don't rush anything, time may be fleeting but not THAT fast right?
These precious moments you spend connecting and getting to another are precious.
Ah but what do I know.... Not like the coaches can ever get a chance to play the game and mistakes. We have the power of retrospect. So all we can do is advise how another person can change individually and try not to make those same mistakes.
An enigma, huh? I suppose the easiest way to reflect upon yourself is to look in objectives and try not to get too emotional in reflection.

Honestly, it is well-known to us by now that Takayanagi can be quite tactless and lack reactions, but he has his own way to show that he cares. In fact, when his cold/cool persona slips off, like how you see in this chapter, his fluster when Miina fell down the stairs, you can feel the emotional side of him.
What he was saying was respectful to what Miina was experiencing. Miina was being confused, and Takayanagi assured her that it was normal to feel confused; the importance is to discover the enigma inside oneself.

We as readers know exactly what Miina has been experiencing and her motivations etc. But Takayanagi does not have that extra information. He only got what he's seen and what Miina has told him.
Leaving a quote and walking away based on that limited information is quite negligent as a teacher. At the least he could have pointed her towards a school counsellor or something. Ignoring kids who've self harmed is how you can end up with dead kids in the real world.

I feel bad for the boyfriend, that boob grab looked accidental. Not that it's bad to have boundaries or preferences, but communicating them is not optional, in love or anywhere else, really. But I guess we have to learn that too, often from experience.

I don't feel the least bit sorry for them, it's not hard to just ask if someone wants to be kissed, much less grope the bobs. Shojo and movies make it seem like everyone wants to be smooched without permission but that's actually a huge turn off for many.
Homegirl just wants a guy who asks for consent, that's not at all unreasonable.

She just agreed to go out with him a minute ago. It wasn't even one of those sudden confessions either, they have already spent some time together and have been to a date. In this context, I don't blame the guy for going for a kiss at all. Though groping is a different story; if that was on purpose then he was certainly out of line.

Also loves the previous pages that her brain's instinct slapped her mind back from the dreamy world to the reality world, she was genuinely hurt, and no words of dreamy could help with that
She is "dumb" in an academic way, but in reality, she is trying to understand her own sensitivity. She has very good instincts to protect herself, hence the "orders" of love that she made it to be. She is also busy reflecting on her emotional state, that guarantee she will mature emotionally sooner than others. In a way, her way is not dumb.
