Great writing.
For psychics, anyway.

None of this makes any sense, in any way; I even re-read from the beginning (and Lyle is definitely a girl, unless all boys have tits), and none of this makes any kind of sense at all.

This is written as though half of the basic knowledge of every action is known to every character, but none of this basic stuff is ever explained, nor will it ever be explained, to the person reading the story; it's as if the thought bubbles, or the non-quoted parts of a book are simply not included.

It's not a story, it's a badly written TV show.

Am I missing something? It feels as if I'm watching the drawing without reading the story, there's so much info not being told to the readers that I'm completely lost.

From what i get from the implications, the royal guards and MC’s team are racing to close a miasma pit. The royal guards are noble cunts who consider MC’s group to be cannon fodder; they consider MC’s group to be completely expendable for their noble glory, and are intentionally firing at Louise’s group while firing spells at the wyverns chasing them.

MC’s team knew it’s gonna happen because noble cunts are fucking predictable in their douchebaggery, so they set up cannons to cover Louise’s group while intentionally counter-friendly-firing into the noble group, and forcing the wyverns to the nobles.

I think meanwhile MC’s group will beeline into the pit instead thru another route while Louise is attracting all the attention from the monsters and the nobles as the “main force”.

But yeah, it’s not super fucking obvious.
