I haven't read the chapter that's present yet but between the iffy looking cover art and the thoroughly cliche/junk synopsis, this sounds like a high probability trash fire.

quick google image search for the cover returned another aggregator site that has chapters 1-12, are they just by a group that doesn't like their stuff uploaded on MD? (edit: I was mixed up between this and another series, woops.)

so my two cents is the artist is either a furry or most of their art experience were focused on furry characters and themes, the reason the faces look weird is because the noses are drawn like a maw and the physiques look weirdly proportioned, not least to say the protruding ribs/raised breastplate are something fairly common with lycanthropy depictions. I think this half-way art style will alienate both fan groups, not enough for the furries and too much for us normals
