Don't you just hate how Japanese authors love to do this thing where "character feels physical strain, will realistically hurt themselves if they keep going, sees something and gets motivated, continues with no issues and is now permanently upgraded from passing their limits".
Well I do, that's not how life works, you cannot just push through and have it all work out great.

i really like the style and energy the artist is pushing through this series, but i'm sorely lacking in imagination when it comes to music. it was rough with k-on back in the days as well, but they also had alot more learning involved and many slice-of-life moments, and the anime adaption rocked hard. i can only hope this series to reach a similar state for me.

If I wanted real life I'd watch the news, I'm reading a comic about playing the piano.

Of course the most popular venue is where the trained classical pianist just plays anime and pop songs. Just like real life :aquadrink:

MC "That's you, but I'm built differently"
I think you should focus on the mad act of listening to the song and then playing it WHEN is still going on in his bluetooth earcuf.

It's fine to push yourself to the limits but a strenuous activity on the hands like this is going to cook yourself pretty quick

The kohai is so adorable it make this story being a monogamous romance sad. But this story need to stay monogamous because MC and childhood friend are too cute together.
These author's should stop adding losing heroine this cute...

Ballerina are basicaly destroying themself while dancing, yet they still do it.
People pushing themself too far is not uncommon, in the story MC's hands hurt him because he lack exercise. He wont end up being crippled by this, he will just need to rest.

And, that's litteraly how life work. When you start any physical activity you will have a hard time doing the basic, and the more you do it the better you get.
People that start learning how to play string instrument end up with the skin of their finger is a super bad state for month, and after this the skin of their fingers become thicker than normal.

That's only true with rest and recovery though, as I'm sure you're aware if you feel the need to type all this.

Now watch how MC goes venue to venue preforming 1 billion tunes with no rest other than maybe some sweat wiping (Japanese love wiping sweat for some reason).
