For anyone wondering, these do not translate into English well. "The futon flew off" is something like "Futon, ga futonda" or something, saw it explained once before.

Yeah, sorry.... but puns just don't translate.
Then again most puns aren't actually funny anyway. Usually they have to be very well-placed or particularly complicated to actually come across as funny to anyone besides Americans or Germans.

For that matter, even American puns don't translate well into English very often because they pronounce too many things differently.
