Kotetsu backed down from the moment of truth. I guess it's for the best since him disappearing would just make Komugi sad after everything. Don't make Komugi sad! And his ill will for his past owner was based on his mistaken assumption of betrayal anyway. It would've been 100% a mistake to lash out on her.

It's finished. It was short but sweet, yet comfy and fluffy. Bless this little ray of sunshine named Komugi for brightening up a reader's day. I will miss this sweetie.

Too bad we couldn't have a bit of romantic subplots going especially with rivals Honami and Morito (perfect meme BTW). Or maybe even Komugi and Kotetsu. I feel like the seeds for those were planted, we just didn't get to watch it grow. But as a SoL this did its job well. Those little friendship moments with Kaede were great too.

It was a nice comfort read for me, like a soft and fluffy piece of freshly baked bread. Short as it is, I can at least take comfort in this nice and warm happy ending. Thank you for translating.
