The chapter that killed two manga. Apparently the (understandable and justified) outrage about what she did to him here led to the mangaka ending this series and the sequel/spin-off as well. Such a shame, this had potential.

@manabi Ah. I guess I can see that. The rest of the manga had been so down to earth and realistic, until this crazy woman appeared. But her previous showing was just a bit yandere, yet still fairly realistic.
Which means it's difficult to suddenly read her actions here as a sitcom joke. And if you read it as a real person doing real things, then yes it is outrage time.

@Simpleton Yeah, I'm a woman and I didn't find it funny. A nice wholesome series, then suddenly she basically kidnaps the girl and lets the cops think the guy's a child molester and the mangaka says it's just a joke? Not a very funny joke, that's the kind of thing that ruins people's lives. And then the mangaka reacted really badly and upset people even worse.
