Entirely true, but you have to take a risk for peace when both sides are tentatively still hostile. She's brave, if nothing else, but definitely naive.

I feel like a more experienced, hardened demon lord wouldn't bother trying for peace at all, though. Much like this human king who is hardened by the previous demon lord and has no faith left to place in the one who ACTUALLY wants peace with him.
