So stupid, these guys have murdered innocent beatsmen and they just tried to kill you. It's also clear that he is going to run away and come back with more people to try to murder you again. There is no reason why any sane human being would not finish him off. Even if the MC is meant to be a good person who values life, he has several justifiable reasons to off this guy, be it for his own safety or the safety of the other people the guy will murder after he runs off

I've dropped this series multiple times now because of the insufferable MC

Why are we getting the main characters who can't kill anyone again? For fucks sake man those guys killed innocent beastmen, sold them as slaves and probably raped them too. Why won't he just kill them? I would feel no remorse for getting rid of scum like them, I don't even consider them people at this point.

I mean I’m glad he did something, but a punch isn’t exactly what I would have expected, killing the bastard would have been more appropriate. Though if he’s a noble and is being protected then doing that would be dangerous… Then again so would attacking him, still should have just killed the bastard.
