So stupid, these guys have murdered innocent beatsmen and they just tried to kill you. It's also clear that he is going to run away and come back with more people to try to murder you again. There is no reason why any sane human being would not finish him off. Even if the MC is meant to be a good person who values life, he has several justifiable reasons to off this guy, be it for his own safety or the safety of the other people the guy will murder after he runs off

You people are demanding that we go back to times where we just killed people in the streets for any perceived slight, perceived slights that have included such grievous crimes as:
Being black
Being white
Being anything other than local ethnic majority
Being anything other than the local religious majority
Being a woman
being from the wrong country

Humanity has used the reasoning that chat uses almost every isekai manga to commit some of the worst atrocities in history, that bug eyed guy was also using that logic, the Beastkin might do something illegal so better to enslave or kill them whenever possible now. You guys are truly ignorant if you think killing another living thing is that easy, especially another human in the modern era.
