But Humans also fear the strong, and they would either try to entrap the strong to get them killed, or become obedient like a slave just so they can survive, since there is no question of profit or loss if you die.
Avolos just has to say the lie to the Human Nobles that he would Spare them if they all betray their nation, and it would work wonders.

Avolos would actually need to kill a bunch of noble families first to have any weight in his words. However, killing them might also turn against him since it's just a little bit antagonising. Nobles also have their pride, otherwise they wouldn't be nobles. Furthermore, if a number of noble families were eradicated and the rest suddenly started making decisions compromising the human independence, it just might give the guild leader a chance to topple the whole power structure. A revolution, that is.

Apparently sh looks like the fortune teller from 1st and 2nd chapter, the writer in chapter 21 and 36.

In chapter 21, the book seems to be about current antagonist and he suppose to be the hero.
