Alright, listen up, y'all. This is my thoughts about Uchimaki's character and what direction I think the author should take for there to be any actual development in romance.
The main characteristic of Uchimaki is his lack of interest to anything related to real girls. Now, at first it feels that he is relatable to some of us, but the problem is, he is currently in his teens, that's the time when all the sexual hormones begin to develop. Normally, there's just no way he doesn't attracted to real girls, but we know he ain't like that. Which then come the next question: Why?
So far, we haven't get any backstory about him. There's gotta be some specific reason why Imari's boobs or Usami's panties failed at making his heart races. I think introducing his childhood trauma would be good for this and that's where Usami will help him to overcome that, which at the same time will make him start to notice her as a love interest. 😎
TL;DR If you complain about why there's no progress just realize that we're not yet touching the reason of WHY Uchimaki is not interested in real girls. So, yeah... Still a long way to go, I guess.
