I had always loved this series and root for Eri and Fuyuki until i’ve got spoiled about that particular chapter that made me hate this series and the author. Oh, and i ship Fuyuki and her Senpai to be able to find happiness together but the author hates them, sadly….

...like, it's just the thing everything about this story is communicating is going to happen. it'd be more surprising if nothing even resembling that happened.

always huge whiplash when i read something with a literary and wistful tone and then go in the comments and people are acting like it's trash TV because it superficially resembles a trope they dislike. run away with me girl had the same problem. clearly to the mangaka this is deeply felt.

cheating and painful, unrequited love happen all the time in real life, and this series is trying to depict real life. it's not "doing NTR" to be lurid. i know people want straightforward romances where you root for the couple and hoot and holler, and cheating intrudes on that, but this series clearly is up to something else. It's okay if that's not your vibe and you're just here to unwind after a tough day. but you don't gotta talk shit.
