Yoshinaga is super cute. I want to see more of him acting like a duckling following its mom (Chika). Momoya is a different kind of awkward kid. I hope Kouta's bright personality will be able to bring him into the group.

Though if Yoshinaga is a duckling, I imagine Momoya will end up more like a pet wolf looking to its human child owner (Kouta) for guidance.

Like the author noted, Yoshinaga was supposed to be a girl previously. While I believe the real reason for the gender change is because the ex-shoujo mangaka simply loves to draw and characterise dudes much more than girls, it is true that if a girl was sticking to Chika like that, it would cause all sorts of problems this series doesn't need. That being said, I still don't like Yoshinaga being like that. As a dude myself, I can't see him as "cute" or anything. The cutest things in this series are Chika and Satowa's relationship, which is like friendly sword fighting. Even if it's friendly, they stil clash their intentions and verbal swords frequently, which makes it so interesting. Akira is the other cute character, now that her frozen heart has melted.
