And the worst part is that in his past life he complained that nobody loved him or cared about him, and when he has the opportunity, with a girl literally saying she wants to be with him, he pushes her away and runs off, like, wtf??

I know the yandere girl was really dumb in the original timeline, but seriously.... why does the MC have to be such a big chicken?? In chapter 23 she hugs him and says she wants to stay with him, everyone nearby say they are a couple, and he yells denying.... like wtf?? what does he really want?? Why he don't want people think she's his girlfriend if he want a girlfriend??

Not to mention that for someone who's been celibate for years, he looks like a eunuch when a girl is literally naked on top of him. The author doesn't know how to make the story go on. He show us the MC sad and lonely past life while simultaneously making him constantly run away from something that... he wants??

This author will make either the MC ending with the big booba girl that he liked from school days OR... ending with nobody and still being a pu55y..... and the first one seems 1000% likely.

For some reason, this girl treating him even minimally decently affects him much more than the other girls literally naked and with their breasts in MC's face....

It seems that what MC always wanted wasn't a girlfriend, but SPECIFICALLY her.

Generic AF. This author is known to make their losing heroine get Raped.This author writes the most ass character and their fan cries "Realistic" whenever someone tries to criticize his works on reddit. Worst author paired with worst fanbase.

It's realistic for them because they would react the same way as MC if someone confessed their feelings to them; they would just make up an excuse to leave and run away....

The art is exceptional, but the story is just bland and horrible. The execution is weak, and (spoiler for the ending)

The drama about the main heroine is just so freaking dull and cliché, as it's just your typical force marriage -> MC "rescues" his woman with the help of other harem members -> the other party self-destructs -> the force marriage ends -> "please take care of our daughter"; this troupe itself is not why I dislike this, it is because the author's writing is not good to make it into an interesting story. Worse, the story is definitely getting axed, as after that whole "drama" about the main heroine, there was some build-up for the next arc about the kami, but it got solved off-screen, and then the story has a timeskip and ends in one chapter.

So disappointed because I really like the art and Nanami (the cross-dressing girl). I should have listened to the one man warning about this manga because the author is the same one that write 1/10 no Hanayome.

You did not rebuke any of my point, you said awkward people behaves awkwardly and that's it. You did not really try to disprove my point so I can't really say anything.
And you did not really connect the mentioned behaviours with the character. Was the character awkward from start, does he behave awkwardly. Or does he behaves like he is "Chad" "Sigma" when it is narratively convenient and "Awkwardly shy" when delaying becomes convenient.

That is all to say after the point if the characters are well written enough to be intellectually invested on them along with emotional investment. But as I said before the author maltreats their losing heroines and other characters. And most of the time it's not a tragic bittersweet story, it's a fantasy ridden fetish, I can't really praise a soft ore p*rn for its "phenomenal realistic" writing can I?
