I assumed Narita was speaking English from the look of the other guy, but only got confirmation afterwards...

don't we usually use <> to denote English in the raw?
No English in the raws at all. The foreigner spoke Japanese.

Kouhai was cute in page 12 and 13 :wooow:

She's only been here and there a few times before but it is unfortunate she got introduced properly this late in the game.

And all this talk about it turning into a harem actually made me think my own understanding of the word has changed. Nisekoi, 5-toubun, etc. was considered a harem for younger me simply due to the existence of multiple heroines but in the end, we all know what happened. Now, I wouldn't necessarily call those series harem but probably a "fake harem"?

Harem or rather "true harem" for me now is one where the MC ends up with multiple heroines properly.

In the case of fake harem, it is unfortunate for the rest of the heroines, they are certainly losing the bowl. I think it's the same case here. Kouhai most definitely will get her heart broken sooner or later if she keeps her hopes up for MC. Unnecessary drama but these losing heroines have been and will continue to be sacrificed to advance the romance of the MC and FMC.

So yeah...poor cute Kouhai... :qq:

Aw fuck, it's turning into a harem!

Ya'all so brainrotted with anime BS that you forgot that a decent, well-adjusted guy could have plenty of women crushing on him, and in this case, its only one girl, if y'all think that's a harem, then im the fucking harem king 🤣.

The word "pseudo-harem" works for me. Any manga(s) where there are multiple heroines in the run but only one will win fit this description (though I do ponder if stories with MC already in a relationship but still have multiple heroines should still be count for this tag)
