Ngl, I don’t really hate Sylvia. Like, to me it seems like the one she wanted love from the most and could never receive it was Illiya, and she really is one of the few people who do care for her. Sure, she’s spoiled by the parents, but the mother is actively poisoning her and I bet the father only likes her because she has the face of the princess. And of course she’s not without fault, since she did have an affair with Soleil, but I don’t think she’s inherently scum of the earth for falling in love with him. Still a dick move though. And she didn’t like explicitly seduce him away from Illiya, he was also attracted to her in the first place so it’s not like she manipulated him into it. Anyways these characters are pretty complex and this story is an all-around tragedy (
