Just checked the raw for the next two chapters concerning the play author has decided to ignore the break the leg trope and Aoba don't play the role as backup . Mikage is a good guy and great wingman, trying to help the mc during the chapter 21 just before the play start. It's wholesome.

I think that's a good thing. Mizudori looks attractive at proper proportions and doesn't need to look anorexic to be pretty.
