Also, I HATE how the author just put the ALL KNOWING BOOK as a side thing, the one thing that's supposed to be unique to this manga is not really important cause we gotta do stupid shit.

Well although he is technically "cheating" I do applaud that he hasn't used the book for any evil intent as of yet. Even with getting a gf from it he seems like a good boi who wouldn't use the book to build up his own harem.

I'm just hoping that other hero guy never gets his hands on the book. I dont want to see a "Back to the future" plot appear here where the bad hero uses the book for evil.

Its a pretty well-known fact that the more effort/time/money you put into something, the harder it is to quit.

Re-reading this. I don't like Hilde or Eugene but I really hate the other girl far more than all of them. She saw them treating Magnus horribly but only piled on with them. "I had been so tough with him" -- no there is a big difference between being tough with someone and being a self-serving jackass.

She is still with the group so she participated in the blacksmith's assault, their robberies, and all their other crimes. Even if it was only by standing aside she's an accomplice to all of their crimes as she was there doing nothing. Genuinely despise that character and every scene they have trying to make her look even half-decent. All she cares about is herself and what she can gain by being with the hero's party.

Sure you can say she stayed to keep Eugene in check but -- did she? Did she really do anything to keep him in check? She didn't return the blacksmith's hammer, she didn't stop any of his theft, and she didn't do anything when this is...what the second kid he's apparently assaulted? How many children has Eugene harmed while she did jack except comfort them after?

I ranted. I ranted hard. Really hate that character.
