It seems no, the shitty hero won't be executed because of his class being "Hero".
From what i read, Hero is a class which has the special job of defeating the Demon King. So unless the Demon King dies, a Hero can't be killed because he is basically an immortal until them (though he can be beaten up badly).
Also the Church (which seems to be fanatic in nature) put a lot of pressure to save him.

@OrcMaster : life in general was also much harder and darker then, its in the safe developed world where you see stories with 1 sided good vs evil characters (other then racist propoganda hit pieces). Though recent years and the dumbing down effects from drone education (for example the American education system is designed to make you a worker, not a thinker) and TV have made 1 dimensional characters worse, since people no longer have the attention to detail to pick up subtile clues.

This is a good manga but in this chapter there was no Jojo Reference when the general rejected his humanity and transformed into a monster. That's why I can't give a 10/10 to this chapter.

I went to hunt it down and its pretty close, had to use google translate to read it again and the biggest difference is Aria using lover and that the text descriptions of things sound stronger then some of the pictures.

With a strong smile, she could endure her tremendous sense of loss.' (Google translate isn't amazing but you can get the idea.)

Still don't really understand the whole hero thing, it really feels designed to make the hero an asshole because that defense pretty much only protects him from humans. It prevents execution for crimes, backstab attempts, being killed by bandits. Meanwhile a wild beast would kill and possibly eat him and eventually might realize he's a infinite meal. Demons probably actually know he's immortal and so if they kill all his companions will just trap him in unending torture because he's NOT protected from mind break or pain and once trapped has no defense against it because the hero seems to be VERY underpowered if he doesn't have THE best gear.

Aria also accompanied Magnus to the cave where he went with the blacksmith dwarf.

@Jeikob yeah i get what you mean, but i think its a little too hard in this situation. being a manga. and we dont realy have any past to speak off, for her to reflect. as an anime we could have dimming silence or other lonely gestures. in novel we could have heard her toughts.

in manga, we have no scenes between them. nor do we really know her that well.

the current scene portrays that she let him slip through her fingers. with the solid reason that she was a bitch towards him. first time they meet in a while she was still a bitch towards him.
