Not really. Exercise isn't really a good way to lose weight in general. As you train, the body adapts to the new load and becomes much more efficient at using stored energy, so you soon end up burning more or less the same amount of calories as you would've if you didn't exercise at all. But exercising gives like 100 other benefits, so it's still totally worth doing. For example, aesthetically speaking, building muscle and improving posture makes you look better, even if you don't reduce your body fat percentage. But if you want to lose weight, you have to eat fewer calories per day. That's really the only way that works consistently.Oo... there's such a fun way to lose weight. Moderate aerobic exercise, awesome.
