I never get tired of seeing how naturally they act around each other.

Other manga treat relationships like some mythical thing that requires the planets to align to work.

This is the difference between a mangaka writer who actually knows how real people act, vs some socially awkward otaku writer whose only frame of reference for relationships is cringe self-insert manga.

Cute chapter, but all I was thinking about was how they were getting various fluids all over the couch because they were naked the whole chapter haha

Probably the realest relationship out there. Yeah, people, especially young adults have sex, often, still can talk about serious things whether you like it or not. The bullshit that is in 99% percent of the so called romance mangas just coming from the cuculand authors and editors.

At a certain point, the manga stops being erotic as I read it. Not to say it isn't sexy, especially during plappenings, but the downtime titties are so casual that they stop being t-shirt warping sex mounds and instead are just a body part - well drawn, fun to look at, but mundane.

Sex notwithstanding, I like the dynamics of their relationship. I agree on some points, like you get comfortable doing stuff with someone you like. It's proof that your relationship with your partner is deep.

I love how natural their conversation feels and then I go read other romance manga and 99% of them are too cowardly to have them even kiss and sex cannot even be remotely implied. And if I complain about being blue balled, people just call me a porn addict and tell me to read smut as if sex isn't a normal part of any relationship.
Tbh it's too natural, like, closer to an ideal, almost fantasy-esque compare to normal relationship. Not every relationship got that much of a chemistry, if anything their relationship with their ex are more align to my view on relationship. Ofc normal healthy couples are not THAT bad and they both moving on is 100% legit.

I agree, except most shonen romance manga takes place between kids in highschool, where I can see the immaturity aspect as being fine since they are literally not matured yet, and every experience is new.
All the romance manga that aren't involved in highschool but rather in adulthood are much more mature with how they deal with relationships and whatnot, especially in shoujo magazine serializations.

If we're talking anecdotes then yeah I agree. FwB shit starts to get bad when one party starts to catch feelings. This happens in 99% of them as far as I can tell. Either they don't bring it up and keep the thing going (despite them wanting it to advance to something "more") or they let their fuck buddy know how they feel and create a rift that eventually pulls them apart.
This manga is a fantasy for people who just wanna fuck and have little romantic feelings compared to the convenience of dumping your spunk in someone who wants to be friends with you and understands you with little obligation.
It's pretty much a "what if the initial stage of your fuck buddy relationship never ends?" scenario which is great.
