I'm kinda prepping myself as well. Hardest thing is to disconnect with my niece and nephew, they're still young and innocent, hope i can go without leaving a dark memory. Im really struggling with that. Else? Yeah, i dont have any regrets

@WoodyCyber soz mate, reading this just got me in the depressive mood. It kinda coincided with my wish as well. The thing about dying without leaving anyone upset.

This is deep.

But why did the Grim Reaper offered him resurrection if he is going to be reincarnated anyway?

Also, this artstyle reminds be a lot of Avogado6's artworks on his twitter page. Anyone else familiar with him?

Edit: nvm I'm being dumb this is his manga.

(No one asked but) That's one of the very few reasons that always stops me. And that if something like this happens in the afterlife or whatever, I do know I'll be a little sad if everyone I know reacted similarly............ Thank you for sharing.

I wonder if he has always been distant to that extent with his surroundings in order to prepare before leaving without leaving any sorrow behind or is it how it has always been? I know that life must have been hard to get suicidal in the first place but I wonder if it was the former and he further distanced himself did he maybe miss up on good opportunities?

@HuHuHi @stanloona I hope I don't write all of this because I just misunderstood your last post but if so just ignore it.
When I wasn't feeling good, granted far from your apparent extent, I always tried to keep away from depressing stuff. Without getting too personal I don't think that is really likely to ever happen in the real world. I have a hatred for some members of my family but their death would still sadden me. Once a not so close friend of mine died and his death took me really by surprise. He died in his sleep at the age of 20. Just like that. Considering that you seem to be close to your nephews I think that you still play a part in their and your siblings' lives. You probably hear it everywhere but hold on and maybe get professional help. Considering that even strangers on the net are offering you help good things might be on your way.

PS this reminds me of that Cosmo and Wanda episode Timmy wishes to never have been born and is shown a reality where everybody is far happier without him

When you saw Death and he asks you,
What's your wish?
And then this is what you ask for,
sob what will the reactions you'll get?

That hit a bit close to home. Inve had vague thoughts like that for a long time although I won’t ever do it because it would hurt people around me.

Oof, if I retroactively found out the people around me really thought about me that way (while still alive, mind you), I would not have coped well.

That was a pretty good story, all told. I liked both characters, the boy and Death... they were both agreeable and sensible. Hey, if we all knew for certain that reliable, systematized reincarnation awaited us, I'm sure we'd be "re-rolling the dice" much more frequently. Oh well, specifics of the afterlife, and whether it even exists, remain open questions on this side of the line.
