But the reverse does happen. Joou-sama no Eshi for example. There was also a oneshot with this plot, but I can't recall the title. It is rare, but not any more than what you describe. It's one thing for straight relations to exist in a GL story, but they're taking over this one. and when the inverse never gets to happen, it just feels wrong on principle
like I'm legit surprised that Cue hasn't dropped this one
yay! thank you for giving me a title that counters me on this~ I've hoped that someone who knows of one would come across me complaining about it someday~But the reverse does happen. Joou-sama no Eshi for example. There was also a oneshot with this plot, but I can't recall the title. It is rare, but not any more than what you describe.
What do this even mean ?"Love at fourteen" ALERT
You realize the "main pairing" made appearances in the preceding chapter, and were relevant in the story of volume 2, correct? What do this even mean ?
love at fourteen actually delivered. the main pairing actually is the focus and screentime
I would say the expectation for it to be yuri 100% is trauma. There where a lot baits.I hope Cuetie doesn't drop it because I don't see anyone else picking it up. And it's way too interesting seeing how the main couple is involved in each of these individual stories, to never get a conclusion to the series.
Everyone's criticizing that there's het couple stories that are ongoing, but ...the author is yuri-centric already, as you stated, and the "central" couple is involved in each of the stories that have arisen already.
Why is it such an issue if non-yuri couples are in-play in the story, when it's about relationships in general, and not one specific type or pairing?
Truly, I hope the group keeps up with this one, because there's a fair bit of potential I think in this "quasi-anthology" storytelling motif. Flowers That Bloom has a similar vibe going, and is obviously 100% yuri focused, but I don't think this one fails on the metric of who's being paired with who.All of the characters thus far are being interwoven, as we see the girl who confessed to Kaede reaching out to the girl at the tail end of the previous arc. Katou-sensei was the one who came to Kaede at the end of the first arc, worrying about the student who was 'detained' by police for entering a hotel with an adult man that set up the second arc.
AND, we don't have the second arc fully resolved yet. There's no telling what might happen with Nozaki as she struggles to get over her feelings for Ibuki. There's a ton of stuff left to resolve, and we're still learning about Kaede and Nami through each instance--as in, the "central yuri couple" that are involved everywhere. The more we see of each of these other stories, the more we get of theirs, and their story is important and still ongoing.
I get that people see "GL" tags and want no other form of relationship to exist in that story, but I would be very sad if this was left to rot just because of that.
Exactly one teacher is actively pursuing a relationship with a student.I would say the expectation for it to be yuri 100% is trauma. There where a lot baits.
I think it wouldn't be bad but that (I don't remember everything) like every adult in this is trying to get on the registry and get a prison sentence its.... It's kinda getting to be a bit much isn't it. The story to me is also disorienting and unfocused.
It's just so weird now.
You've skipped roughly 80% of the manga at that point, then.I wonder how many chapters I have been skipping or flash-reading just so I can only follow the main couples' story already...
Exactly one teacher is actively pursuing a relationship with a student.
Two others who have been confessed to (one being the "main character", Kaede), either actively sought to quell the confessions from happening/continuing and to confront and tell off the student (again, Kaede), or just fully ignore the confessions and wait for them to either dissipate or for the students to graduate (the male teacher whom Kaede initially confides in and seeks advice from).
There's fourteen chapters currently translated. I'm a slow reader and I've gone through all of it twice in the past hour when I was verifying other details, so forgive me if I'm not sympathetic when others are giving verifiably false statements and saying "I don't remember" as an excuse to do so.
There are absolutely things that can be criticized in this work, but getting upset that more than just the one gay couple exists as characters or that the clearly objectionable pairing of a student & teacher is wrong, without realizing it's obviously being framed as such by the story itself, given what transpired in the first volume, is not only subjective and thus solely down to the opinions of the individual reader, but also feel surface-level in their degree of engagement to the point it feels discouraging coming to the comments to try and have meaningful discourse about the series in the first place.
Like I said I don't remember cause I'm not gonna reread the entire series, just because ch 14 was released after 6 months.
For you illiterate dumbass I gave an explanation as to why people view it as shit, because it isn't just 100% Yuri. - Trauma - were you ever hyped to watch one series of yuri. Then you watch "tehee" "tahaa" and all of a sudden the 637 chapters you read about a couple is gone. Logic just dude.
And stop using chat gpt to make yourself look more eloquent lol
Do it like me theres no harm in writing cancer for someone like you specifically
What a dumbass
I mean I can't guarantee you'll enjoy it though. It's a rather chaotic series, and there's a lot of stuff that would be considered wildly out of line if it weren't played for humor.yay! thank you for giving me a title that counters me on this~ I've hoped that someone who knows of one would come across me complaining about it someday~
You did not get the point before you did not now. Have a great day. You do you. I apologize for interacting with you. Waste of time on both our endsThe fact you assume I'm using some LLM because I apparently "write too eloquently" tells me everything I need to know about how seriously to take you.
I look forward to seeing you back next chapter continuing to complain instead of dropping the series like an adult.
