While I quite enjoyed this I definitely think the narrative structure was probably what held it back from being more successful. Things kinda just happen like I'm reading someone's history on their wiki page. Granted this was adapting straight from the web novel, which is also very simple in its construction, such that the manga was just lifting text from it verbatim with how little there was. I hope the Light Novel is fleshing things out significantly with a lot more prose.
