brooooo i loVe that bern and iris are reunited as siblings. it's good, and it's satisfying to see yuri lose on of her supporters, and for bern to find a better pathway to happiness, too. it's also probably mentally uplifting for iris, who was wronged by him, too.

don't know why every reincarnation Otome novel revered the silk fabric so much when there's not much design you can do with it like those beautiful gowns with different kind of fabrics that was much better. silk can be used but for a few parts of the dress and for design decoration only. Asian dresses such as Chinese dress and other Asian culture dresses such as Indian dress can be used but silk mostly used for sleepwear only.

Also it just my opinion but most silk dress use in western-style looks too cheap for me.
If I were Iris, I would have used my future modern fashion style, that can abide by the nobles dress code but slowly changing the fashion trend, since in this timeline they only use frills and a ballon dress so having flowy but beautiful dress would be more trendy and beautiful and that would profit me more.

I thought she's smart, I guess she's not that smart.

if she's gonna advertise a dress then advertise a dress that can use different fabrics that are easy to obtain and use and make it into something beautiful that no one has ever done like off-shoulder with simple yet unique but elegant design.

Advertising a dress with silk that is hard to obtain and only limited is just stupid. if your gonna introduce silk then introduce by showing it as to what it really uses for such as silk that was made for its traditional dress style. it's from oversea right, then it should be made with the countries' design dress code, that would have piqued the people's interest and appreciate the beauty of the silk if its use for its true purpose and showed the real beauty of it.

Ugh... that dress is a fucking eyesore. It just looks like she got some big lengths of shiny black and white cloth and just fucked about with them until they remained in place. Now she looks like a christmas present wrapped by a 5-year-old.

And when are we going to get more Rehme? She barely got any attention back when she was relevant, and now it seems she has been completely brushed out of the story. ;_;


@Mikhail : No. She does not have curves. Or was that rhetorical? I'm guessing from what Bern said when he first saw her again that maybe she used to have curves... but now she is officially a skinny waif. She has all the visual appeal of a bamboo cane.

absolutely. I came in here to say similar. "what would you rate iris' dress?" -> the bow is actually the only part that I *do* like. I don't like the dress at all. My first thoughts were "it looks like she's wearing a towel."

because in europe until the late victorian era, Silk was a highly prized cloth amongst the nobility. Soft, tough and elegant. Today we are spoiled for choice with high grade fine cotton and all manner of synthetic fabrics, but back then cotton was comparably coarse and rough and the poorer people wore all kinds of other lesser quality fabrics.

Seriously today's middle class has a better standard of living than the royalty of the middle ages

The king condition isn't that terrible when he first collapsed.
Now it's exacerbated to the point of him being bedridden.
The king being bedridden makes Ed able to do anything to please Yuri.
