Yep, but we know he didn't "betray her first." Nowadays manga, and media in general, has a chronic fear of holding female characters accountable for anything. In manga, men cheat because they are bad and women cheat because men bad. Wait, that's also real life nowadays.

Still think tactically, putting blame on the girl is lower risk since in harem setup there’s still the other girls’ fans to prop it up. As opposed to putting guilt on the MC (the sole self-insert anchor).

Girls in story seem to be more eager in standing their ground since they can get out of it.

And for the life of me, I can't understand why. Every time there is a story where infidelity plays an important role, it's either male infidelity, and the woman will be justified in taking her revenge or is female infidelity and the woman will be justified in her cheating. In the first example, the man will suffer. In the second example the man will suffer and either be abandoned or he will forgive if he ever finds out at all.

I'm not clamoring for "red-pilled misogynistic revenge plots" but simply stories where men will act with dignity and strength. Josei manga for men, if you will.

I would venture that most of the hate towards a "certain hentai genre" stems more from the inability of the male characters to stand up for themselves and, at a minimum, walk away while retaining their dignity.

Between humiliation and harem revenge plots there should be a middle ground that depicts men dealing with the pain of betrayal in a dignified, strong manner. I would even say that many young men need those kinds of examples.

Well we all know Chinami is a slut at Ch2.. But because of this, it also somehow confirms that Fumiya's chance of his kid is not his, on both girls.

The part about biological father? It’s just reaction about real life story where the kid just flip after knowing they’re from another man. It’s hard to imagine that kind of “my life is a lie” especially if they only found out after they grow up.
And maybe just me being cynical, but even if the adoptive father sucks, there’s no guarantee the biological father won’t suck too after he became full time.

Unsure on how much they are bringing the kids. Chinami could have been meeting Takahiro while the kids are at school.
I think it depends on how Chinami sees the kid; does she see him as her son, or her son with Takahiro. The latter, she might bring him to meet his biological father. But the former, she would prefer having the double life as separate matter (the “normal” family with Fumiya, and the affair for thrill and pleasure, both are not to be mixed).

Anyway, the half sibling route will just make things more spicy if there’s a sequel for the kids though.
