The art is really good and it's absolutely beautiful at times, but there's a lot of things that I feel lacking.
It's honestly really hard to try and get emotionally attached to these characters. You can show a multitude of scenes where they get to further their relationship, but what am I supposed to feel if I don't even care for the characters themselves? There's nothing unique about them that intrigues me, there's barely any struggle what makes me want to root for them, the situations can feel so ridiculous at times, (ex. that panel where Suuna hides under the fucking table), that just make me more confused or make me think "wtf is even going on?". It's sad when the one character i genuinely like the most is the little Kohaku sister. It doesn't really... feel rewarding to read during the later chapters so to say.
Unused stuff (missed potential):
1. Ruka's past
Her feeling of being special being one-way is something that can be incredibly interesting to overcome, something like Suuna just wanting to be friends would've been incredible as they realize their feelings for each other more, and have some kind of self-improvement and whatever, you get the point
2. Side characters
Seriously, I can barely give a shit about most of the side characters. Not a single ounce of interest in who they are. At this point Little Kohaku is the only one i like, everyone else feels like a plot device that's useful and only shows up when they're needed.
Not to say I didn't enjoy it though, will still keep up with updates but yea... it's been rough for most of the chapters recently
