I don't get how you could see that as positive. They implied, or directly showcased, thru the entire story that it was a bad world to be in. That it was a heavy choice to be a part of.

This whole read felt like a schizophrenic episode. So, glock 18s were used, (cover and fight scenes) which didn't exist until the 1980s, LED light bulbs (that thunder episode), GPS, radio (chapter 14), modern post 2004 maserati cars exist (chase episode), but not telecommunication, phones, police, or anything else that would make slavery impossible. Keep in mind slavery was already abolished in Italy in the 13 century. Also I assume since they were in the south, they were in Sicily, Catania. I've lived there for 6 years, and it's full of ACs. At least 5 on every single building wall, and cars parked everywhere. In the manga, nothing. I get that this is fantasy, but still, I was disappointed.

This really just made me want to read Crazy Tokyo Paradise again for the nth time.

Expected more, got cut short. Doesn't hit as hard emotionally, but did hit a few ideas not in the mentioned comic.

Was a fun read. Thanks for finishing this work. Maybe I could slide in a suggestion of redoing the above mentioned comic too. Old, but no official English version that I could find. Several pages near the end of that series are missing all the text, which is the source of any desire of mine to try my hand at scanlating to figure out what it says.
