What happened? Did something happen? Did he address her strangely or something? I don't normally pay attention to how he addresses her so I wouldn't notice.

For those who didn't understand what just happened:
He rarely wants to initiate talking. Seems like this is the first time where he has shown interest in wanting/hoping to talk to her by saying "Talk to you soon". It just slipped of his mouth and hence he wanted to clarify when he realized what he just said but she disconnected before he could put up an excuse. It could be his subconscious wish to talk to her(seeing how he already likes her) OR just a casual "talk to you later".
Either way Kubo hopes it's former reason and not latter. She is mostly right imho because he doesn't seem the kind of guy who has a habit of saying talk to you later.
