i am pretty sure a creature that can run super fast and probably weigh ~50/60kg do have the time to fucking run out of the situation or act (like disarming) before the time the MC speak the word "miss"
A common problem with manga/anime but my god that a big one that can ruin a moment lol, like the 5min of freeza where you could probably make a coffee and all, you feel so tension SoOOooOoOo much

Tbf, the Freeza problem is only in the anime xD
