I think it makes perfect sense exactly because it's objectifying, it's basically one way or another basically a fetish thing, the idea of a bad woman abusing the man, things along those lines, though in many works it would end with the man eventually having his revenge lolIt's weird how men are usually the ones writing the oversexualized misandry. (While making it misogynist in an objectifying way.)
Guess this subgenre is what true equality looks like. Sexism for everyone.
Or it could ne purposely exaggeration because if it was realistic it would be too boring and serious
Now you reminded me of how a lot of the cheap romance for straight women made by women a lot of times the male love interest is many times abusive, sometimes even forcefully taking the female protagonist, if not outright rape her in some cases, it's taken as hot because of the idea that the lust is so much the man loses control of himself
I'm also reminded of Wonder Woman who was created by a couple wo were into bdsm and a poly relationship, Wonder Woman original weakness wss being tied by a man, she would become powerless because of that, it also happened frequently :v
In short, when it comes to fetish people are weird and we shouldn't kink shame, at worst kink ask why
